FPC Ltd joins CODE project - COMPETENCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR DIGITAL EMPLOYMENT
FPC Ltd has become part of the project CODE - COMPETENCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR DIGITAL EMPLOYMENT consortium as of 1 August 2019. The main objective of the project is to provide employment opportunities for vulnerable young people at risk of poverty.
FPC Ltd takes the place of a partner from Greece that has withdrawn from the project. Following the formal approval of the Fund Operator, FPC Ltd undertakes the activities of the Greek partner, which include organising three stakeholder meetings in Greece; incorporation of developed motivation modules in a curricula; joint development of a curriculum for 3D animation, graphic design and digitalization; joint development of examination rules for the trainees to obtain certificate of course completion; testing a psychological support online tool that will be developed by another Bulgarian project partner; organising a partner study and a collaboration workshop in Greece; providing participants for a teacher training to be held in Estonia; organising two training courses in Greece, each within 6 months, on the topics of 3D animation, graphic design and digitalization; and follow-up of participants in the training courses future development.
The CODE project receives € 2 314 015 grant from the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. It is implemented jointly by 8 partners from Bulgaria, Latvia, Romania and Estonia, and its duration is 3 years.

The main project objective is to provide opportunities for quality employment to vulnerable young people at poverty risk such as orphans, that are out of social protection facilities at the age of 18 without any possibility to continue in high education or enroll for additional out – of - school courses due to financial reasons, children of working poor people, young people in rural areas, single parent young people, minority groups young graduates. The specific project objective is to develop and implement a training program for specialized digital competences, such as digital design, graphics, 3D animation, game design for these young people that otherwise cannot afford to obtain hi-tech knowledge due to restrictions coming from their financial situation. The project strives to achieve this through developing, equipment and piloting of the program with involvement of actors at different levels – business supporting organizations with focus on creative industries, organizations for psychological and social help and youth organizations.
The project`s main result is a developed and piloted training program to boost target groups` access to acquiring specialized competences for employability and self – esteem as well as providing a new perspective to learning interactions and problem solving. The transnational nature of the project and its transferability approach and interdisciplinary penetration directly helps to increase the intensity of cooperation of key actors in the partner countries.
The project “CODE – Competence Opportunities for Digital Employment” is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants and Norway grants.
The Austrian Federal Government through the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs financed this business component of the World Bank Project “Wetlands Restoration and Pollution Reduction project.
The project aims to support the sustainable development, creation of jobs, providing conditions for starting business and permanent employment through supporting the organic farming, the food processing industry and the creation of cluster structures.
The project covers the territories of Natural Park “Persina” including the following towns and villages: Nikopol, Belene, Dragash voevoda, Oresh, Svishtov and “Kalimok/Brashlian” including: Slivo pole, Ryahovo, Golyamo Vranovo, Babovo, Brashlen, Tzar Samuil, Nova Cherna, Staro selo, Tutrakan, as well as Ruse Region.
The following activities will be performed:
Establishing of cluster structures for production, processing and export of organic products;
Creation of information materials and training modules for farmers;
Establishment of 2 offices of existing hosting organizations.
The access to the services is meant only for small and medium size enterprises as well as for farmers. They will be supported only for production and processing of organic products, as well as for ecological farming.
